Animal Collective es un grupo de música experimental basado en la ciudad de Nueva York, originarios de Baltimore, Maryland. El Colectivo Animal está formado por Avey Tare (David Portner), Panda Bear (Noah Lennox), Deakin (Josh Dibb), y Geologist (Brian Weitz).
