Valerie es una canción escrita por Steve Winwood y Will Jennings, originalmente grabada en Talking Back to the Night, tercer disco solista de Winwood en 1982. La pieza trata sobre el amor perdido y la esperanza de encontrarlo de nuevo.

En 2004 Eric Prydz la sampleó para componer un corte house y después se la presentó a Winwood. Steve Winwood se impresionó tanto con lo que Prydz había logrado que regrabó unas partes para que se acomodaran mejor al producto final. La remezcla resultante fue estrenada con el título Call on Me.
