Los Pigeon Detectives son un quinteto de Rothwell, cerca de Leeds, Inglaterra, se formaron durante el 2002... ellos son Matt Bowman en la voz, Oliver Main en la guitarra, Ryan Wilson toca la otra guitarra, Dave Best en bajo y Jimmi Naylor toca la batería... fueron teloneros alguna vez de los Dirty Pretty Things en la primavera de 2006; en noviembre pasado abrían recitales para los consentidos de West Yorkshire: los Kaiser Chiefs...
