Los creadores de tal sonido son la vocalista Karen O, el baterista Brian Chase, y el guitarrista Nick Zinner: los Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Juntos nos han dado buenísimas tonadas —hemos comentado que Maps es electrizante, pero no al nivel de Y Control, lanzado como sencillo el 1 de junio de 2004, último del disco Fever to Tell. En América no logró alcanzar notoriedad ni puesto fijo en las listas, en el Reino Unido apenas tomó la posición 54. El video fue dirigido por Spike Jonze y es simplemente alucinante
